The 3 Cups of Coffee Program connects participants with experienced community leaders, business professionals, and mentors for three one-on-one mentoring sessions. Through conversation, guidance, networking, and accountability, participants gain career insight, professional connections, and practical advice to help them move toward their employment and personal goals. Required to enter our program.
Recruiter and Second Chance Mentors provide participants with personalized guidance, encouragement, accountability, and professional insight. Whether navigating a career transition, overcoming employment barriers, rebuilding after life challenges, or seeking new opportunities, mentors offer real-world advice, networking support, resume and interview coaching, and practical strategies to help participants move toward meaningful employment and long-term success.
Our professionally written resumes are designed for today's digital hiring environment. We create keyword-rich, ATS-friendly resumes that highlight skills, experience, and accomplishments while improving visibility on modern recruiting platforms and job search websites. This service comes free in our program.

Our one-on-one case management program provides personalized support and wraparound services tailored to each participant's unique needs and employment goals. Through individualized guidance, resource connections, barrier identification, accountability, and ongoing support, we help participants navigate challenges and access the tools, training, and community resources needed to achieve long-term stability and employment success.
Participants have access to more than 300 online training programs covering Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, QuickBooks, workplace technology, business skills, and many other in-demand topics. As courses are completed, participants earn certificates that can be added to their resumes and shared with potential employers. We also provide referrals to local skilled trade training programs and employer partners that offer on-the-job training opportunities.
Sponsored by United Way of Midland, our Readiness Outreach Workshops provide practical job readiness training designed to help participants prepare for employment and career advancement. Workshops cover topics such as resume development, interview skills, workplace professionalism, job search strategies, digital literacy, and overcoming employment barriers while connecting participants with valuable community resources and support services.
Participants have access to a large clothing closet featuring professional and business casual attire to help them prepare for interviews, employment, and career advancement. FR clothing and steel-toed work boots may also be available for eligible participants beginning new employment in industrial or skilled trade positions. FR clothing and boots are not available for general closet pickup and require proof of new employment before assistance can be provided.

Our Trailer brings employment resources directly into the community. Equipped with professional clothing, employment resources, resume assistance, digital tools, and workforce readiness support, the trailer helps individuals access services where they live, work, and gather. The trailer is available for community events, outreach programs, job fairs, partner organizations, and other local events throughout West Texas.
Limited transportation assistance may be available to help participants overcome employment-related barriers. Support may include transportation for job interviews, workforce training, or the first weeks of new employment, helping individuals maintain momentum as they work toward long-term career success.

Professional counseling services are available through trusted community partners for individuals seeking support with personal challenges, stress, anxiety, life transitions, relationships, recovery, and overall mental wellness. Counseling services are fee-based and provided by licensed professionals to help individuals build healthier, more stable futures.

Our Workplace ESL Program helps non-native English speakers build the language skills needed to succeed in the workplace and everyday life. Classes focus on job-related communication, workplace vocabulary, interviews, safety terminology, customer interactions, and professional confidence, helping participants increase employment opportunities and career advancement potential.
