Prosperity Employment Outreach was founded in 2023 to help individuals overcome employment barriers and connect with the resources, training, mentorship, and support needed to achieve meaningful employment. Serving Midland, Odessa, and communities throughout West Texas, the organization provides personalized case management, job readiness programs, professional resume assistance, networking opportunities, workforce training referrals, and access to essential resources that help individuals move toward long-term economic stability.

What began as a grassroots community effort has grown into a workforce development nonprofit serving hundreds of individuals each year across West Texas. Prosperity Employment Outreach focuses on helping unemployed, underemployed, second-chance individuals, veterans, single parents, and working families navigate today's workforce through practical guidance, mentorship, and community partnerships.

Founder Kim delaPena brings more than 25 years of experience in recruiting, workforce development, media, and community engagement. Throughout her career, she recruited for companies across multiple industries, organized and marketed job fairs throughout the United States, and helped connect thousands of job seekers with employment opportunities. In 2023, she sold a portion of her recruiting and job fair business and founded Prosperity Employment Outreach to address workforce barriers she had witnessed firsthand throughout her career. Her experience working directly with employers, recruiters, and job seekers helped shape the organization's practical, relationship-based approach to employment support.

Today, Prosperity Employment Outreach continues to build bridges between people, opportunities, and community resources throughout West Texas. The organization's mission is to empower individuals to achieve meaningful employment through personalized support, workforce readiness programs, mentorship, and access to essential resources that help remove barriers and create lasting success.
